Features: fruits separating into mericarps; ovate or elliptic or lanceolate; with carpophore bifid to the base or with carpophore bifid to the middle; beak absent; mericarps homomorphic; glabrous; 2.5-5.0 mm long; 1.2-1.5 mm broad; slightly compressed dorsally or terete; with primary ribs; all primary ribs equal, filiform; mericarp ribs straight; with entire margin; calyx teeth obsolete; stylopodia low conical; styles medium; recurved; cell borders distinct or cell borders indistinct; surface irregularly rugate or surface foveolate-tuberculate; cells isodiametric; anticlinal walls convex; outer cell walls concave; cuticle striate with straight striae; exocarp cells small; commissure narrow, exocarp almost reaches carpophore; inner fibrous mesocarp obsolete; mesocarp parenchyma not lignified; vascular bundles compact; vittae vallecular and commissural; 2–5 in each furrow; 4–10 on commissural side; rib sectetory ducts small, present in some ribs only; endocarp not lignified; crystals obsolete; endosperm with broad, shallow groove on commissural side or endosperm with narrow, deep groove on commissural side; embryo with two cotyledons.

Note: СЭМ: Границы клеток местами различимы, изодиаметрические, антиклинальные стенки выпуклые, наружные периклинальные вогнутые, кутикула струйчатая. Местами границы неразличимы, на ребрах поверхность волнистая, в ложбинках бугорчато-ямчатая и беспорядочно морщинистая.
