Features: fruits separating into mericarps; ovate; with entire carpophore; beak absent; mericarps homomorphic; densely hairy; 20.0-23.0 mm long; 10.0-11.0 mm broad; terete; with primary ribs; all primary ribs equal, thickened; mericarp ribs straight; with entire margin; calyx teeth prominent; short; triangular; stylopodia flat; styles long; recurved; cell borders indistinct; surface longitudinally rugate or surface irregularly rugate; cuticle sparse striate; cuticule on hairs remote-striate; exocarp cells small; commissure broad, exocarp interrupted near edges of marginal ribs; inner fibrous mesocarp obsolete; most of mesocarp composed of cells with lignified pitted walls; vascular elements diffuse, not forming bundles; vittae cyclic; rib sectetory ducts small, present in some ribs only; endocarp not lignified; endosperm with mushroom-like groove on commissural side; embryo with two cotyledons.

Note: mericarps tomentose СЭМ: Плоды густо покрыты одноклеточными волосками – одиночными и пучковыми; волоски 100-250 мкм длиной, сильно сплюснутые толстостенные, с тупой верхушкой и расставленно струйчатой кутикулой. На плоде границы клеток неразличимы, поверхность продольно или беспорядочно морщинистая, кутикула расставленно струйчатая.
