В ложбинках большей частью границы клеток неразличимы, поверхность ямчато-бугорчатая и беспорядочно морщинистая, кутикула морщинистая. Где заметны границы – клетки изодиаметрические ок. 30 мкм, с вдавленными антиклинальными стенками и плоскими наружными стенками, кутикула морщинистая. Много устьиц, кутикула вокруг устьиц гладкая.
